Custom compression socks questions, answered.
Everything buyers ask before they order — minimums, timings, artwork and print options.
What is the minimum order?
Just 12 pairs — enough for a small clinic or one shift team — with tiers that fall steeply for programmes, retail lines and employer runs. Programme orders include the sizing kit as standard.
How fast will my compression socks arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and orders ship in about 2 weeks, express available. If a programme needs measuring first, we will say so and quote the measuring week honestly rather than shipping guessed sizes on time.
What does ‘graduated’ compression mean?
That the pressure is highest at the ankle and steps down as the garment travels up the calf. That profile is the product. A sock that is simply tight — or worse, tightest at the top — is not graduated compression, whatever the packaging says.
Which class should I choose?
For everyday support, standing shifts, travel and recovery, the 15–20 mmHg class is the usual answer. Anything firmer is a decision for a clinician who has assessed the leg, not for us and not for a website. Firmer is not better; the right class is.
Why won’t you size by shoe size?
Because a compression garment is fitted to a calf, not a foot. We ask for three numbers — ankle circumference at its narrowest, calf circumference at its widest, and the length from floor to just below the knee — and we stock wide-calf and long-calf blocks as real sizes rather than hoping one block covers everyone.
Are these medical devices, and do they treat anything?
No, and no. These are wellness and support garments: well made, honestly labelled, and sold with no claim to treat, prevent or cure any condition. If you have diabetes, arterial disease, reduced sensation, an ulcer or broken skin, an already-swollen limb, or any history of clots, please speak to a clinician before wearing compression at all — and have the class prescribed rather than guessed.
How long does a pair keep its compression?
For daily wear with a nightly wash, plan on three to six months. Elastane recovers a little less every cycle and the pressure profile drifts down long before the sock looks worn out, so a stated replacement window goes on every programme. Anyone who tells you a compression sock lasts for years is selling you a sock, not a class.
Do you make running socks, dress socks or studio grip socks?
No — each of those is its own craft with its own specialists, and we would rather send you to one than sell you a tight sock with a different label on it. We make measured graduated compression, and we point every other brief honestly at the right door.
